In 2007, Envy Eyewear opened up with one goal: bring exceptionally fashionable eyewear to the beaches. We quickly became a community favourite, winning The Beaches and Riverdale’s readers choice award for “best optical store” our very first year. Since then, we’ve won 7 more awards, and it’s no wonder. We carry dozens of brands that you can’t find anywhere else in The Beaches.
At the end of the day, we’re all about one thing: and that’s providing uniquely stylish eyewear. Like we always say:

Envy Eyewear Boutique is really a family affair. Our owner, Yasmin, and her team spend every spare moment making the shop better and more beautiful. In fact, they completely renovated the store from top to bottom together, even redoing the sidewalk outside. Yasmin and her team are 100% committed to giving you the best possible experience.
This family dedication even spans multiple generations! Before his retirement in 2015, Yasmin’s father, Dr. Amirali Boga was Envy’s Medical Doctor. Even now that he’s retired, our customers come in to ask how he’s doing.

Over the last decade, we’ve had the chance to really get to know our customers and their families. We absolutely believe we wouldn’t be where we are without the support of our community. That’s why we make giving back our priority.
We love taking every opportunity to get involved with local events and charities. Whether it’s donating prizes for silent auctions and draws, or sponsoring athletes (like Nazem Kadri from the Toronto Maple Leafs) in charity golf tournaments; we’re happy to help out. We often donate to local schools and even give free glasses to nearby seniors homes. The people of the Beaches have given us so much. We feel like it’s our duty to give back!
We also think our responsibility extends beyond our own backyard. We’ve had the awesome opportunity to be involved in a few international missions! Providing eye care in India and Zanzibar through the Global Kindness Foundation is an exciting and completely humbling experience that we feel very lucky to be a part of.
